About Me
I received my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Indiana University. During my time in graduate school I elected to take a course on Occupational Therapy and mental health which allowed me the opportunity to participate in now published research in this area. This research along with the specialized course work in mental health helped frame the way I work with children and their families today. While completing my outpatient pediatric internship in Chicago I began developing my passion for pediatrics and more specifically sensory integration. I had the pleasure of learning from senior occupational therapists who spent their careers specializing in sensory integration.

My passion for sensory integration continued to grow working as a licensed occupational therapist and continuing to receive countless hours of mentoring, training, observations and treatment review from senior therapists. I have completed various courses to continue to grow as an occupational therapist. Some of which include; Safety and Stability: A Trauma-Informed Sensory Motor Approach, The Building Blocks for Sensory Integration, Handwriting Without Tears: Get Set for School Readiness and Writing Workshop and Handwriting Without Tears: K-5 Handwriting Workshop.

I love partnering with families and their children to help promote independence and maximize their quality of life! I provide in home evaluations, individual treatment and peer social groups. I enjoy educating and collaborating with families, teachers and staff on sensory integration and each kids unique developmental profile to ensure all their goals are being met. I am extremely passionate providing occupational therapy that considers my clients mental health and wellbeing as these both play large roles in progress.
